1) Vinyl Cutting (Calgary location):
- material comes as solid colors covering a vast color palette (color choices offered by our suppliers are plentiful)
- vinyl can be calendared or cast, with manufacturer ratings ranging from 2 years for chrome, and sparkle designs, to 7 years for metallic colors and over 10 years for cast vinyl in solid non-metallic colors.
- vinyl material comes in rolls typically 15 to 48 inches in width, and decals larger than the roll width are usually accomplished through "tiling" (or paneling) where multiple pieces are joined together with an overlap to form the decal.
2) Solvent Inks Printing (Calgary location):
- media is white vinyl, and the colors on the decals are printed using special commercial printers rated for "outdoor product"
-decals for cars can be over-laminated and contour cut, as per the design and client's requirements.
- decal printing media comes in rolls 24 to 104 inches in width, thus allowing for very large graphics (there are no restrictions on the possible length of a decal, banner, other than the computing powers of the RIP-ing software that processes the information and send it to the printer)
3) Silk Screen Printing (Calgary location):
- media is white vinyl, and the colors on the decals are printed using specialty inks best rated for outdoor use
-decals for cars can be over-laminated and contour cut, as per the design and client's requirements.
- decal printing media comes in sheets, although printing on longer pieces of material can also be achieved through moving the media or the screens in increments determined by the size of the screen used.
